| Occ: Long, quick paced, not really elaborite, and some doesnt really make sense. Oh, and some doesnt really need to be in here. But I gave Danno and Pebble both thick ropes to use. They better...
Traps eyes widened at Lyles sudden appearance, but before he could help himself, his good leg kicked Lyles stomache, sending him off.
"You Fool! Now that you broke your leg, how i am supposed to kill these runts!?!" Traps good leg along with his arms were making him slowly get up.
Yelping in pain, Trap tried to stop, but couldnt control himself. Looking despratly at Lyle, he screamed at him. "Run! Before it...."
"Shut up!" Traps body stood up, clutching the broken leg. "Hmm... Nothing I cant heal..."
Trap felt motion in his mind as it tried to tap into his magic. Just then, the Rat flung out of traps blanket, and bit his ear. With a loud bang, and a scream from trap, the rat had tapped intpo his magic, changing to his real form.
The Creature controling Trap struggled with shock. THis was draining its magic, and it was not a dark magic inforced weapon. With a resounding crack, the hilt of the sword began breaking under pressure.
Trap looked at his rat/Dragon with shock. It had come from nowhere. Dropping to his knees it seemed like the beast was gone.
Surging with power, the sword began repairing its crack. Taking hold Of the Dark weilding boy, it struggled to get to his feet. Whipping a knife from the stomache strap, it hurled it at the Beast, then two at Lyle. "Stupid Thing. Now I have to kill you first," It shouted, running at the Dragon with Fang and another dagger. Jumping with enourmous strength, it Stabbed both daggers down the Dragons neck, sliding along. Then with a quick flick of the wrist, it whiped the five arm daggers to Traps hand, and stabbed the beast yet again. Turning around To Lyle, hoping the kid was alive so he could play somemore, it sensed magic. Better then this boys, it had a kick, and it knew what it was doing.
Trap screamed in pain and agony as his body ran and jumped, and as soon as he turned to look at Lyle, he felt a strange motion on his leg. Looking down, he noticed the sword had been undone, and it was just about to fall. Grabbing it with both hands, he chucked it as far as he could away from him, hitting a large pillar. Hoping it destroyed the thing, he dropped to his leg in pain.
The Newly formed Dragon dropped to its knees in pain and shock. Turning its head to Trap, it let out a sound resembling talking. "Run... before it gets another..." Then with a flash it turned to the rat, and another into n othing but a small coin. The Magic used to create the beast withered in the air, then entered traps body slowly, healing the basic injuries, and restoring some magic, as a summoned beast should do after its defeat.

| Beka was watching this entire crazy scene from behind the broken pillar. Beka couldn't understand everything that was happening; the dragon she understood was Trap's dark magic. Now....
She crept out from behind the pillar and walked toward the temple gate, her staff gripped with both hands. She took each step carefully and then froze. Lyle!
She took off at a run and stumbled over Lyle. She started talking so fast all her words ran together and she couldn't understand anything she was saying. OhmygoodnessLyleareyouokayIdon'tthinkwehavetokillTrap nowdoesyourstomachhurtandwheresyourbowyoupoorthingisthatabruise?!
Beka clapped a hand over her mouth and blushed. Getting matronly are we?! She grabbed Lyle's hand and dragged him to his feet. Are you okay Lyle? |

| lyles head was spining. 'which was up, o that way...' as he fell onto his rump. he tried to form inteligible words. "okay, 1, wered the dragon go, 2, why is there a knife stuck in my ARM, 3, is trap back to normal yet, and 4, why did you get all mommy on me all of a sudden?"
lyle was struggeling just to stay awake, he tried to get up, leaned forward, put both hands on the ground and pushed himself up, he was swaying back and forth like a drunkard, 'wow, trap kicks worse then a mule, ima feal this in the morning.' he looked at Beka and smiled, she looked like she colud use some re ashurance, "i'm fine just help me walk for a bit. is trap okay?" |

| Beka laughed. Okay, one, the dragon was a summoned dark magic thing...it's dead, or gone, or whatever, but anyway it isn't here anymore! Two... oh poor baby, I mean, LYLE YOU'RE AN IDIOT HOLD STILL Beka ripped the knife out of his arm, ripped a part of her sleeve off, and bandaged up Lyle's arm to stop the bleeding. I'll have to put herbs on that later. Three, I don't know, we should probably go check on him now... WOAH EASY THERE! Beka wrapped her arms around Lyle's shoulders to hold him steady. |

| Beka made sure Lyle could stand up and then bent down next to Trap. His leg was broken, and he looked pretty crazed, and he had just tried to kill Lyle... Lyle, you dork, how can you be so kind to someone who just tried to kill you and threatened everyone else who has ever given him a home?
Beka shook her head and squeezed Trap's shoulder. Hey, what's up... are you going crazy on us again? What happened? |

| Occ: His leg is healed, and somebody with no magic, PLEASE COVER THE SWORD UP or something.
BIC: Trap Shrugged Beka Away. "Dont.... Dont Touch Me..." He said hoarsley, standing up. "Stay Back..." He stood up, and turned to her angrily. "Dont... ever... Touch me... Again..." He gasped, his strength slowly returning. He stood up straight, and felt his magic running through his veins. What his rat did... was restored his magic back to him. He could finally use it!
Traps eyes shone in the sun, and then slowly began the change, like all dark weilding humans. His skin also began to change tones, slowly getting darker. He felt dizzy, and excited. Slowly he began to see stars, and before he knew it he was face first in the dirt. Slowly he began to lose focus on the world around him, but not before he saw the sword glinting in the sun. Then it was all black.

| lyle checked traps pulse, as he had often seen done to wounded men. "his pulse is fine, well need to carry him back to the hideout." lyle walked over to the sword, he picked it up, something about it felt... wrong. "i better keep this... hidden, Beka, can you carry trap back while i find a place to hide this." lyle looked around, he say a rather large rock, a little bigger then him, 'this will be perfect.' a dug a hole infront of the rock, about a foot deep, and laid the sword long ways, coverd it up, and pushed as hard as he could on the rock until it was on top of the whole.
he sat down painting, 'that was hard, it'll take a good evort for anyone to find it now.' he walked back to were he left Beka. "are you ready to go?" |

| Beka glared down at Trap. She kicked him. Then, she bent down and slung him over one shoulder, muttering curses all the while.
Beka started to stagger along the path back to the Grasshopper Camp. Nice hole, Lyle. That thing was weird...
She paused and glanced at the rock for a long time. She felt a really weird tingling feeling in her bloodstream, like she was about to use a hard magic spell. She shook her head. Ack. I'm probably sleepy.
Come on Lyle, help me drag this lout back to the storehouse. |

| Trap awoke in the night, feeling powerful and refreshed. He slowly stood up, and looked around. They had brought him here...
Looking around a barrel, he spotted Lyle sleeping. That was good. If he could just sneek past him...
As soon as Trap made it around lyle, he began to become more careless. It was smooth sailing from now. Beka was probably asleep, and the little kids were all snoring, so all he had to do was open this door and creep into the night. Then freedom. Grabing the handle, Trap noticed seeing in the dark was no problem now. All Grasshoppers were trained to focus their eyes, but he could see everything clearly. Slowly opening the door, he winced at the loud creeking sound. Hopefully noone heard him...

| Beka sat up, flinging her blanket to the side and scrambling to her feet. She grabbed her staff and whispered Shhhhhhh. We'll follow him silently. Don't shoot, tackle, or call him until I give a signal.
She stepped silently out of the storehouse, maneuvering around sleeping kids. One of her rather trustworthy seven year olds sat up and looked at her quizzically. She signed for him to be quiet and go back to sleep, and he did. She reached the door and saw that Trap had left it cracked open. She squeezed out with Lyle behind her. Ungrateful fool. We dragged him back here out of kindness and patched him up, and then he runs off again? Lyle seemed really interested in that sword... Beka recalled the tingling feeling she had felt near the sword earlier. I'll bet it's enchanted, or cursed, or something...
Beka stepped outside of the storehouse and paused. Trap's never used magic before, that I know of...this is getting weird. |

| Trap Ran down the road, sneaking behind barrels and bins, looking for something. At last he found what he was searching for. Pulling a large block of stone away, he began digging in the dirt. after awhile he found it. It was a large sythe, stolen back when he was younger, just a small grasshopper. At that time, he figured noone was big enough to use it. Now he was. Shaking the dirt off it, he used his blanket as a make-shift sheith. Then he was up and gone.
"Now how am i supposed to sneak in that place..." he muttered to himself, sprinting down the road. "Last time i left it, i was sleeping on a dragon. This will be a bit difficult... especially fighting those creeps. All they did was kill. dirty jerks.
occ:betcha thought he was going to find the sword. Also, betcha you dont know what he is doing. or do yea?

| Lyle was curious, first it was a sword, now a scyhte, what next. he sneeked over to Beka. "i don't think we should confront him just yet, let's see what hes going to do, and if need be, try to bring him back alive." lyle thought for a moment, 'let's see, eaither hes doing something i don't know, or hes comeing back to try and kill us all. i'm hopeing its the first one.' |

| Trap ran threw the streets, dodging all signs of life. He didnt want to meet anyone just yet. Stopping at a street corner, he saw two theifs, and some slave drivers. It was either experiance killers, or kid bullies, so he went for them. Running with his sythe behind his back, he cut through the first mans neck, catching the other three in surprise. He butted ones gut with the bottom of his sythe, even though it was tipped like a spear, he didnt think the man was dead yet. Slashing at another, he groaned as one blew a whistle, that was silent, but it meant the reinforcement were on the way. Cutting that man down, he was grapped by the man he stabbed in the gut, feeling his blood trickle down onto Traps new shirt. The last man pulled out a large knife, but Trap managed to manuver his sythe, so when the man stepped down on it, it cut the man holding him, right through the arm. Trap kicked at the man infron of him, pulling out his own dagger, he stabbed his gut, turning around to finish the last guy. By then, about 10 more drivers were running towards him, and the theives were lauging and probably making wagers. Cursing, Trap grabbed his sythe, waiting for the men, out numbered. 4 was hard enough. He knew running wasnt an option, because then they might think of looking for him, and that would put the grasshopper clan in danger. No, he had to stand and fight.
"Crap," Trap said, as the first 3 men pulled out swords.

| Beka swore. She was not feeling particularly fond of Trap and his antics right now, but she wasn't about to let any of her grasshoppers go down alone. Especially since he didn't run. The only reason he wouldn't run was to keep the other grasshoppers safe. The idiot has a thread of loyalty in him after all.
Come on Lyle, we gotta save him! Beka scampered down the street after Trap, stuffing her hand into a little pouch on her belt and drawing out fistfulls of Flaming Flies. Idiot idiot idiot idiot idiot...!!! GRASSHOPPERS AIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beka chucked the flaming pebbles pretty much everywhere. She noted with satisfaction that her screaming had at least spooked a few of the thieves. Eat fireballs...
She noticed that some of the thieves were placing bets while sitting on two barrels. She hissed a quick spell and held up her hand. The barrels burst into flames, and so did some of the thieves' clothes.
She finally ran up next to Trap, staff in hand. She muttered another spell, and little flames started to dance along the staff without burning her weapon. Well Trap, I must say, you have a talent for getting into prickly corners. |

| Trap glared at Beka angrily. "What are you doing. These Slave masters mean business. Its not just a simple robbery," he quickly took down one of the men infront of him. "If they catch you or outnumber us, its all over for the grasshoppers. They all look up to you, you know" he stabbed the end of his sythe into a mans gut, and used his body as a temporary club. Then, with a quick flip and thrust, he killed another man. But with another whistle, Trap could sense that they were in deep trouble. "I shoulda picked the theives," he muttered, pulling out a dagger.
occ: He is going for revenge on the Shamans.

| OOC: I know. Beka has a bone to pick with Shamans too, can she come?
Beka cracked a theif's skull with her staff and set two other thieves' clothes on fire. Wow. I've never seen a grown man cry like THAT before. Didn't his momma ever teach him stop, drop, and roll? Beka whipped her staff around and smacked two rogues in the jaw at the same time. With another WHACK she took down one, and the other one ran off, a hand on his bleeding mouth.
Trap, step back. Beka kicked over a rum barrel and watched as the liquid gushed down the road toward the remaining thieves. Two of the particularly bright rogues turned around and ran away screaming. Beka said a quick spell and set the barrel on fire. In a flash, the flames spread to the liquor and rushed along the little stream, setting on fire anything along the entire street that was remotely flammable.
Beka grinned and brushed a strand of her red hair behind her ear. Are there any guys left...? Beka turned around and inspected the area. |

| Occ: they are not fighting theifs. I tried to emphasize that. Slave masters. not theives. weaker, but always calling in back up. and yes, which is why i posted that he was sneaking away. Beka and lyle had to folow.
Trap motioned to Beka to back up, and he threw what appeared to be a glass bottle at the road. it shattered and soon smoke began billowing out. "Now that they can see, we should be safe. Now, lets go!" and he was running down the path, yet again.

| Beka grumbled and chased after him. It's my job to make the plans, usually.
Her booted feet hit the hard, uneven stone paths. Thump thump thump thump... Beka brushed her red hair out of her face as she tried to get her bearings. Of course, figuring out where you are is always difficult in the Ruins, as everything is so beat up and falling apart in places. Beka couldn't help but wonder what the Light magic people had been like. Every once in a while she found a pillar, or a chunk of a wall, or an elegant, partially intact road that reflected the good artistic tastes of the Light people that had lived here. Even though I never knew them, it makes me sad, somehow, that they're gone... everything is tainted so dark now.
Beka kept up the pace after Trap. Wait a second... we're starting to get on the outskirts of the Ruins. We're headed toward the Shaman Camps. He doesn't actually think three kids can... Beka called Trap? Where are we going? |

| Trap stopped dead in his tracks, holding the wooden part of the sythe out to stop Beka. "This is it, encampment three." he pointed to a large stone building, which screamed 'run away' in all appearances. "This is where they had her, this is where i came. This time, they will know not to mess with me. Never mess with Trap," he muttered.
"I already have a plan to get in, but if you want to come, you need to fully cooperate. The kids will listen to no reason, for they figure destiny is death. I already tried awhile back, but that was in a cell, with magic resistant stone everywhere. Now they will listen. They have to!" he said, straying again to just talking to himself.

| lyle decided he's try and talk some sence into trap. "trap, are you absolutely sure you want to do this, your just a kid, and there shamans with magic and i dont know what else in there, this could be very dangerious, and honestly, id rather not go. but its not up to me, its up to Beka, i go were she goes, and if shes going, im in."
lyle dident even in his wildest dreams want to go in that place, to dark and spooky, but he couldnt let beka go off on her own, with only trap, with how weird hes been acting, he should keep an eye on trap at all times. |

| Trap, what do you know about this place? I mean, what kind of magic are the shamans and are there any other thieves or rogues? Beka was still annoyed that Trap had run off and ended up dragging them with him, but she was itching for a fight, even if she didn't want to admit it. I guess I get more savage every day. My parents would be mortified...
Beka muttered a spell, and little flames ran in long lines along the length of her staff. Lyle, you want flaming arrows? |

| Trap pointed to the ground. "I pretty much know the basic layout of this encampment. I was there for acouple years, and had a way with talking to the gaurds, and other kids when they were lonley. There is only guards, shaman, and the random slave driver. Nothing more." Spinning his sheith around, the removed the metal cap on the butt end, revealing a spiky surface, dripping with venom. "But the Shaman use death spells. Thats all they know how to do, but they do it well."
Pulling out two capsules of the venom, he offered it to Beka. "If this gets in the blood stream, it messes up the body, preventing any spells to work. I got it from a friend. Dont ask."
