Steel???

Okay, well this first struck me when I looked at Blade's list of spell types and I finally got around to saying it.

Steel is a man-made alloy. It isn't found lying around in nature. How is it an "element" by any definition?

I propose switching out "steel" with "iron". Iron is found naturally all over the place; it's even in our bloodstream.

Doesn't it make more sense to have Iron magic, or Metal magic; maybe Mineral or Rock? Steel doesn't make much sense...

I figured close enough. Take the time to change it everywhere if you like. The reason they share the same area with Rock is i figure that they wont be as dense population wise. Seems how those two have constant wars. But if you are willing to take all the precious time uup to switch/edit EVERY post that has the word steel in it, go for it.

I mean, we could just say that the magic type is Iron not steel. We wouldn't change the posts, just accept that it's been changed since. I'd just modify the "steel" spell description to Iron.

Only pointing this out because it looks sooooooooooooooooooooo stupid to have "steel" next to other elements because steel is manmade.

yea. I think only you would find that annoying. Other people wouldnt even think like that. At all. But, as i said, waste your time and change it all.

This reminds me of x-men. The magneto guy or whatever his name is, controls metals. He pulls the iron out of this guy's bloodstream to escape imprisonment. It was pretty cool.

meh. I havent watch xmen yet, because i always forget to rent the movies. The games, i have beaten them all. movies, notso much. TV show, fled from because it brought shame to the xmen
